About the Online MA Economics Program

The Online MA Economics from Sri Venkateswara University builds economists who can read the numbers and the policy behind them. Across two years and four semesters, the curriculum moves from core micro and macro theory, mathematics and statistics for economists, and public finance, into applied fields including growth and development, the Indian economy, econometrics, and financial, environmental and industrial electives, with a research orientation building through the final year.

Eligibility Criteria

A bachelor's degree of minimum three years' duration from a recognised university, or an examination recognised as equivalent. Economics must have been studied as one of the subjects during the undergraduate degree. Candidates without Economics at degree level are not eligible for admission.
