About the Online MA English Program
The Online MA English from Sri Venkateswara University develops advanced understanding of literature, language and critical thinking. Across two years and four semesters, the curriculum moves from poetry, drama, fiction and prose across major literary periods into linguistics, literary criticism, Shakespearean studies and Indian and world writing, with practical learning in language teaching, communication, media and soft skills. The programme also explores contemporary areas including post-colonial, cultural and comparative studies, building strong foundations for teaching, writing, media and further academic pursuits.
